On Tuesday evening, students in the International Baccalaureate program were given brand new Dell netbook computers by the school. These computers will be used for the remainder of their high school career and students will keep them once they have graduated from the program. The new technology will used to communicate with teachers, log community service hours, and complete extended essay and research assignments.
Stephanie Kopchick, an employee at the DuPont Company, visited on Monday, February 11 to speak to female students about careers in engineering. In attendance were students Kaitlin Bailey, Allison Chinnery, Mailaika Colson, and Taylor Webb.
Auditions for Dickinson’s annual talent show the Ram Jam will take place after school on Tuesday, February 26. Sign up with performing arts teacher Matt Jufer outside of room F102.
The next Coffee Series will be offered this Tuesday from 8am to 10am. This is an opportunity for prospective parents to tour the school during a typical school day. Call the main office at 302-992-5500 to reserve your place. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
