Terri Baker has generously volunteered to coordinate the After Prom which will take place on Friday, May 10 at JDHS. She needs lots of help to create this safe and fun way for the students to end prom night!
Help is needed in four areas:
Time commitment: evening meetings beginning in February.
Tasks: brainstorming; making decorations,displays, banners, back-drops etc.
SET UP & DECORATING
Time commitment: Prom Night, Friday, May 10 beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Tasks: hanging decorations and lights; blowing up balloons (helium); setting up giant blow-up obstacle course, games, and DJ in the gym.
FOOD PREP & SET UP The menu has not been picked yet — suggestions are welcome!
Time commitment: Late night! Saturday, May 11, 2:00-3:30 a.m.
Tasks: take everything down and pack away what can be used at another JDHS event.
“The after-prom is a lot of work BUT so worth it. It is such a fun night! (Did I mention late night?) There will be lots of coffee!! Subs and drinks will also be provided for dinner. It sounds a little overwhelming but it really is a lot of fun! Just to see the students and faculty’s faces when they come in makes every ones hard work seem so much easier.”
