This Week at Dickinson

Dickinson hosted a FIRST Lego League qualifying event on Saturday, January 12. Though the competition was open to middle school and elementary school students, the school’s Robotics students volunteered to help run the event. Members of the National Honor Society, as well as parents and faculty, also participated in making it a successful event.

Midterm examinations and half day schedules continue until tomorrow. The new marking period and second semester will begin on Tuesday. Students with semester classes should obtain a new schedule from their advisor or guidance counselor.

Jostens will visit during the lunch periods on Friday, January 25 to take cap & gown orders. This is the last chance for seniors to order their graduation materials.

The January Dickinson Support Association meeting will take place this Tuesday at 7pm in the school library.

Prospective students and parents can see Dickinson in real-time! Call the main office at 302-992-5500 and make arrangements to visit the school during normal operating days. The next Coffee Series will be held on Tuesday, January 29. Light refreshments and coffee will be served.

There is still time to participate in the annual blood drive on Thursday, January 30. See a member of the Student Government for registration forms.
