Principal Murphy Named Foreign Language Advocate of the Year

Congratulations to Mr. Murphy for being named Foreign Language Advocate of the Year 2012-2013 by the Delaware Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language (DECTFL).  Red Clay eNews announced:

[Mr. Murphy] was selected for showing support to foreign language education through Dickinson’s pairing with the Sister Cities program through the City of Wilmington and Nemours, France, as well as the implementation of the International Baccalaureate Program at his school, said Debbie Supplee, president of DECTFL.  “His teachers also recognized him for his support in their professional development activities, classroom support and foreign travel,” she noted.  Mr. Murphy will be honored at the group’s annual banquet on Nov.  9, 2012.
